Trick-or-Treating With Our Grove City Community
November 13, 2022
As summer wraps up, the leaves begin to fall, the days get shorter and people tend to look forward to what comes next. The staff at Meadow Grove is always looking for ways to make sure our residents are enjoying the end-of-the-year months and festivities to the fullest.

After the pandemic, it feels nice to bring a sense of normalcy to our residents. This year, we decided to bring back a fun tradition to our community, trick-or-treating with our residents. We invited children from the Grove City community to enjoy dinner, cookie decorating, a balloon artist, face painting, pumpkin decorating, and, of course, trick-or-treating around the facility. While the children enjoyed dressing up and all of the festivities, our residents insisted that they got the most out of the evening.
“It was so much fun to see all the creative costumes,” shared Hester, a long-time resident of Meadow Grove.
“It was nice that my grandchildren got to dress up and trick-or-treat for candy, and I was able to be there with them,” boasted Nancy, another resident at Meadow Grove. It was heartwarming to see the community coming together and support Meadow Grove. Even after two years of battling a pandemic, it was a wonderful turnout. The residents have not stopped buzzing about the event and already have some ideas for next year.
We are so excited about some of our other upcoming events, including Thanksgiving dinner and our Holiday Open House. Follow Meadow Grove on Facebook to stay up-to-date on our current events and announcements.
